VINTAGE SIZING
SIZING
Due to the nature of Vintage Clothing and the changes of sizing over the years, vintage sizing isn't always true to modern-day labels.

We try each piece on ourselves, photograph the actual item that you'll receive and measure each item against a modern-day sizing table to get a modern interpretation of the size.

For this reason, our listed size will often differ from the size shown on the tag or label of a piece.If you're not sure about sizing and you have more questions, then you can send us a message at hazelreyvintage@gmail.com before you order and we'll be more than happy to help you with any sizing issues you might have!
HOW WE MEASURE
All product measurements are taken with the garment laid flat.
We also suggest comparing the measurements of a garment that fits you to the ones in the item descriptions to help you decide if the item will fit you.
BUST
From one underarm across to the other and then doubled

WAIST
Measured from the narrowest part of the waist and then doubled.
We note if it's an elasticated waistline

HIPS
Measured from 20cm/8" below the waistline and then doubled
TOTAL LENGTH
From the highest point of the garment to the hem
​
SLEEVE LENGTH
From shoulder to cuff
​
TROUSERS LEG LENGTH:
From the top of the inside leg to the hem
TROUSERS RISE
The distance from the middle of the crotch seam to the top of the waistband
JUMPSUITS BODY LENGTH
Top of shoulder to crotch
